A 26 year-old Douglas woman has appeared in court charged with murder.
Arizona Devine Watterson is alleged to have murdered 28 year-old William 'Billy' Rogers last Wednesday.
She is also alleged to have perverted the course of justice.
Wearing a grey sweatshirt top, Miss Devine Watterson appeared in the dock for just over a minute before being remanded in custody until next Tuesday, April 8, at 9.30am.
The court was told that she had phoned emergency services at 2.30am last Wednesday and told them Mr Rogers had been stabbed and required medical attention.
Miss Devine Watterson was also granted legal aid.
