Marshal recruitment concerns

A report which criticised the marshalling of last year’s TT could impact on the Island’s motorsports.

So says Manx Radio TT commentator Roy Moore after coroner of inquests Michael Moyle sharply criticised the organisation and training of marshals after hearing the case of a rider and two spectators who died during last year’s Senior TT.

Mr Moore says he’s worried marshals will be driven away from the event because they’re worried about the consequences of any incidents during racing.

Last year’s senior MGP was called off as it faced a lack of marshals, and Mr Moore says the inquest report could make recruitment even harder:
