Licensee's concern over smoking ban

Use it or lose it - that’s the message from the head of Bushy’s Brewery after the smoking ban took effect at the weekend.

Martin Brunnschweiler says pubs are already facing difficulties, and losing custom because of the ban could mean the end for many.

He says it’s pointless to complain about the ban as it’s now the law, and landlords and customers alike have to live with it.

But he’s appealing to people to support their local pub, or face watching it close (audio file attached):
