Two men charged with manslaughter have appeared before Deemster Doyle at a Court of General Jail.

Forty-three year old Marcus Anthony McCormack, of North View, Peel and 25 year-old Mark Anthony Quirk, of Castlemona Avenue, Douglas have pleaded not guilty to the unlawful killing of Joseph McCabe on August 23 last year.

Their trial has been fixed for November 3 this year.

Deemster Doyle said it was a 'long stop date', and expressed the hope that an earlier one could be found.

Both men were remanded in custody.
