Home-grown biofuel?

An Island-based biofuel venture hopes we could produce enough rapeseed oil to make fossil fuel obsolete.

Tom Walton and his two business partners have been supplying biofuel made from waste vegetable oil collected from hotels, but he now wants to move on to rape seed.

Next month, two experts from seed supplier Monsanto will tour the Island looking at possible locations.

Mr Walton says he’s invited farmers to meet the experts, as well as the government:
