Home Improvement grants encouraged

Home Improvement grants are a good investment for the Department of Local Government.

So says Minister John Shimmin, who was speaking after if was revealed ?85,000 worth of available grants out of the ?500,000 available, weren't allocated in the last financial year.

Mr Shimmin says there's a good reason for people to make energy saving house improvements (audio file attached):
