Chemicals found on beach

by isleofman.com 9th April 2008
Members of the public are being warned not to touch bottles of chemicals which are being washed up on Port Erin beach.

Several of the small bottles have been been found there over the last few days.

They're described as being made of clear plastic around 3? inches high with a diameter of around 1? inches, with a black screw top.

Port Erin Coastguard team is currently searching the beach and surrounding coastal areas for more of the bottles.

Anyone who finds one - or any suspicious object - should dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

If you need more information you can ring IOM Coastguard on 661664
