Hartford appeal refused

by isleofman.com 9th April 2008
A property developer has had a planning application for flats in Port Erin turned down again.

Hartford Homes wanted to knock down Windsor House on Brobourne Promenade and put up 14 flats and a car park.

Planning permission was initially refused because the design of the new building was deemed out of keeping with surrounding ones.

That ruling was appealed but Local Government and the Environment Minister John Shimmin has upheld the original decision.
