Open day for Disabled Workshop

An open day today (Thursday) will showcase the Manx Workshop for the Disabled’s new premises and services.

There'll be demonstrations of new technology, new equipment and manufacturing methods, as well as what goes on in the traditional workshop environment.

And you’ll be able to take a closer look at what goes on at the premises at the old Noble's Hospital site between 11 o’clock and 3pm.

Graham Christian, manager of the workshop, which creates jobs and training opportunities for disabled people, is encouraging members of the public to come along:
