Former Braddan Clerk to give evidence

The former clerk of Braddan Commissioners will give evidence this morning (Friday) to the Select Committee investigating the local authority affairs.

Charles 'Buster' Lewin is scheduled to appear at 11 o’clock, with Henry Kennaugh, director of developers Baccarat Ltd, owners of land at Camlork in the parish, giving evidence from 10am.

The public hearing will take place in the Millennium Room at the Legislative Buildings on Finch Road.

Mr Lewin (pictured) is one of six candidates vying for five seats in this month’s local authority election.

The others are current commissioners Margaret Hodge, Ray Corkill, Andrew Jessopp, Kate Beecroft and Peter Halsall.
