CLINCH should decide own policy - Teare

by isleofman.com 11th April 2008

Health Minister Eddie Teare says he won't be attending a meeting of care organisation CLINCH this weekend.

The group will hold a workshop at Centre 21, off Glencrutchery Road, Douglas to give an update on plans for a village-style complex for people in the Isle of Man with learning difficulties.

Mr Teare (pictured) says he did go to a meeting to discuss the charity's policy and strategy, but it would have been difficult to get to tomorrow's gathering because of constituency business.

There is also another reason for his non-attendance (audio file attached):

Tomorrow's workshop will run from 10.30am to 2pm.
