Worker struck by 'unknown object'

Police want to find who threw 'an unknown object' at a person in St Mary's Road, Port Erin yesterday.

The victim, an employee of the local commissioners, was struck on the side of the head and received facial injuries.

Before the object was thrown, from a silver car, the worker had been verbally abused by a person in the vehicle.

It happened at about 1pm yesterday, and anybody who can help is asked to ring Port Erin Police Station, on 832222.
