CLINCH workshop on Saturday

by isleofman.com 11th April 2008

Family carers are being invited to a workshop, staged by the care organisation CLINCH, at the recently established 'Centre 21', off Glencrutchery Road, Douglas.

The event will run from 10.30am on Saturday (April 12) and will be hosted by Island resident Susan Barnes, a graduate psychologist and special needs counsellor.

During the workshop, which will continue into the afternoon, an update will be given on the proposed village-style complex for Isle of Man residents with learning difficulties.

The project has been under consideration for many years, but CLINCH spokesman John Sheppard (pictured) is determined to make it happen (audio file attached):

For more information on the workshop you can ring Jill Dugdale, on 625328.
