There were 55 goals scored in five games in the Sure Mobile Women's Premier League yesterday (Sunday) evening and, incredibly, almost half came in just one fixture.

Joining her on the scoresheet were Leanne Ashe with six.

There were hat-tricks for Karon Faragher and Kim Hicklin, Becky Cole bagged two while goals from Sammy McDonald, Andrea Lace and an own goal completed the scoring.

Laxey's solitary strike came courtesy of Jane Irvine.

Corinthians won 8-0 at Michael with Jade Burden scoring five, a Sarah Kerford brace and one from Rachel Quirk.

Gymns also claimed a fine away win, 6-0 at Peel.

Rachel Beckley got a hat-trick and there were also goals for Angela Guest, Erin Carpenter and Rachel Parnell.

Ramsey went down 5-2 at home against Colby.

Kylie Hawthorn and Rebecca Colquitt scored for the Ballacloan outfit but Colby won thanks to goals from Alice Ledbetter, Emma Gill, Franchesca Smith and Nicola Cooil with two, one from the penalty spot.

And Rushen overcame Castletown 6-1 in the southern derby at Croit Lowey.
