Bacchas clinch cup

by isleofman.com 14th April 2008
Bacchas A continued their winning ways yesterday (Sunday), overcoming Falcons 3-2 in the Mixed Hockey Cup Final.

Second half goals from Andy Bridson and Karl Moore added to Glen Bloxham-Mundy's equalising strike in the first period.

They were bookended by goals from Andy Harding, who put Falcons ahead, and Paul Kelly, who pulled one back in the second half, but to no avail.

Sports Editor Tim Glover singled out Louise Corkill for Bacchas and Zoe Carney for Falcons as the game's outstanding performers.
