Gelling joins Caledonian board

Former Chief Minister Donald Gelling has joined the board of Douglas based Caledonian Trust (IOM) Limited, as a non-executive director.

According to the company, he is the most high profile of a series of appointments and promotions, designed to strengthen the management team even further.

Managing Director Sandra Georgeson said: 'We are delighted to welcome Mr Gelling to our board, as we feel his years of experience in the government and finance sector in general will enable him to make a valuable contribution, and provide us with an impartial view of the industry and our operations. We pride ourselves with having a strong culture of compliance and good governance, and recognise the value Mr Gelling will bring to the board in his non-executive role.'
