A new ?1 million car park at Ronaldsway Airport has been given the green light.
Tynwald unanimously approved a scheme which will provide an additional 221 car and eleven motorbike spaces, as well as nine dedicated disabled parking berths.
The car park will be sited on the opposite side of the road to the entrance to the existing overflow car park, with work due to start next month and finish in mid-October.
The current car park has 736 spaces but demand exceeds capacity at peak times, such as during school holidays.
The new car park will provide capacity for a projected one million air passengers a year.
