Minister welcomes airport investment

A costly project, but one which will ensure the Isle of Man is at the front of the aviation game in years to come.

That's the verdict from Transport Minister David Anderson, after Tynwald agreed to spend ?44 million on the runway extension at Ronaldsway.

Work on building a promontory out to sea, extending safety areas, and to upgrade the existing runway, can now go ahead.
