Romanian training continues

There's only two days left for the Manx firefighters in Romania to complete the training of the local volunteers who will be using the equipment they brought over.

The Manx team of retired and serving firefighters drove over to the country a week ago in three de-commissioned tenders, including a Simon Snorkel platform unit.

John Moss has been with the Manx team and says they've been trying to instil a sense of professionalism and teamwork in their Romanian counterparts.

Speaking through an interpreter a local man told him why he had volunteered for the training - after helping to tackle a blaze in which a woman lost her life:
