An inquest has heard a four year-old Braddan boy died after suffering an epileptic seizure during the night.
Ryan Andrew Fenton was found dead in bed the following morning by his brother and mother in August last year.
He had a temperature and felt unwell the previous day but was getting better by the time he went to bed.
Ryan had suffered from convulsions in the past, brought on by overheating, but had been well enough to not need medication for almost nine months.
A post mortem carried out by specialists at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool concluded Ryan had died from Sudden Unexpected Death In Epilepsy, or SUDEP.
Coroner of Inquests Michael Moyle recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
He told Ryan's father Andrew Fenton, who was at the inquest, that he and Ryan's mother, Keeley Dallimore, shouldn't blame themselves and said their son's death was sad and unfortunate.
