Fluoridation still for consultation

The Department of Health and Social Security says it’s still on track to carry out consultation regarding water fluoridation.

A leaflet due to be sent to Manx households next week has been changed after a row broke out in Tynwald over claims the water authority supported the policy.

Health Minister Eddie Teare says the leaflet has been changed and reprinted and will be sent out on time next week.

There’ll then be a phone poll carried out – and Mr Teare (pictured) says it will be open and above board:
