Manx Gas has announced a 14 per cent price hike, which the company blames on high wholesale costs.
All natural gas tariffs will rise by 0.73p per unit on May 1, but LPG customers will be unaffected.
Managing Director Alan Bates (pictured) says the increase may sound like a lot, but prices are still lower than at the beginning of 2007.
