Chairman of the Overseas Aid Committee, George Waft MLC, has been meeting members of the team of Manx firefighters in Romania.
Mr Waft watched the official handing over of three fire engines, driven to Romania by the Manx crews, and saw local volunteers who've been trained by the serving and retired firemen from the Island, receive certificates of competence.
The member of the Legislative Council has also seen the charity RomanAid's Multiple Sclerosis daycare centre in Iradia.
