Island brings in EU Burma sanctions

The Manx Treasury has released an updated document detailing the sanctions against Burma or Myanmar.

The government’s advice has been updated following the application and implementation of European Union sanctions.

In place are measures preventing dealings with the regime, government-owned businesses and individuals involved in running the country.

Sanctions Notice, number eleven, can be downloaded from the government’s website at gov.im
