Hospital staff sample Manx produce

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2008
A 'Manx Produce Week' is being held in the staff canteen at Noble's Hospital.

The event, which has been organised by the catering staff, is to promote local produce and the hospital's role as a big supporter and consumer of the local food market.

A local food supplier will set up a stall in the canteen at 11.30 each morning to offer a selection of their products for staff and guests to sample.

Those taking part include Isle of Man Creameries (Monday), Harrison and Garrett butchers, and Isle of Meat (today), Greeba Mushrooms (tomorrow), the Isle of Man bee-keeper's Federation (Thursday) and Ramsey bakery (Friday).
