Food warning from Gawne

The Agriculture Minister says while food prices continue to spiral, little of that money is lining the pockets of the Isle of Man's fishermen and farmers.

With the world population expected to increase by 3 billion over the next 30 to 40 years, Phil Gawne says there is a real need to ensure there is enough for people to eat.

The rising cost of food globally is put down to various factors, including climate change and the price of fuel which has gone up more than 14 per cent in the last year.
