It's hoped workers in the Isle of Man will be taking advantage of the extended polling station opening hours this evening.
There are contests in six local authority areas around the Island, St Georges and Athol wards in Douglas, Onchan, Braddan, Marown and Ramsey's North and South wards.
Those eligible to vote will be able to do so until 8pm.
Once the polls close, there will be extensive coverage of the results on Manx Radio.
