The sacked Clerk of Braddan Commissioners failed in his audacious bid to gain a seat on the parish board.
He finished bottom of the poll in today's local authority election with 290 votes, 185 behind Margaret Hodge, the candidate who claimed the final seat.
Peter Halsall topped the poll with 566 votes, and he was followed by Andrew Jessopp (540), Liberal Vannin candidate Kate Beecroft (526), Ray Corkill (506) and Margaret Hodge (475).
So, as you were in Braddan.
