Braddan board toast success

The five outgoing members of Braddan Parish Commissioners have been toasting their re-election to the board.

Peter Halsall, Andrew Jessopp, Kate Beecroft, Ray Corkill and Margaret Hodge beat off the challenge of Charles 'Buster' Lewin, who was sacked as Clerk to the board, just over a year ago.

After the results were declared Mrs Hodge spoke of 'the extraordinary situation' she and her colleagues had faced (audio file attached):
