The Isle of Man conceded a goal two minutes from time to lose 3-2 to favourites Scotland in last night's second Umbro Quadrangular Tournament game.

The Manx side trailed 2-0 at half-time but goals from Sean Quaye and debutant Conor Doyle levelled the contest.

But Brian Dingwall broke Manx hearts with his late strike at Douglas Road, Peel.

In the other fixture, the Republic of Ireland drew 1-1 with Northern Ireland at Croit Lowey.

The final round of matches are on Saturday afternoon - the Isle of Man face Northern Ireland at The Bowl and the Republic of Ireland play Scotland at Ballacloan Stadium, Ramsey. Both games kick-off at 2.30pm.
