South Kessock scheme

by isleofman.com 25th April 2008
A Manx company is hoping to transform a derelict site in the Scottish highlands as part of a waterfront housing development.

Caledonian Property Partnership, managed by a board of trustees in the Isle of Man, wants to redevelop a four-acre site in South Kessock.

The plans include a 14-storey building with 190 plus shops, commercial offices and service businesses along with an orbital walkway leading to the city centre.

If approved, work would go on in phases over the next five years, but the scheme is subject to planning permission from the Highland Council.
