Airport operating as normal

by isleofman.com 26th April 2008
Ronaldsway Airport is operating as normal and flights won't be affected by the discovery of an unexploded bomb at Derbyhaven earlier, according to a airport spokesperson.

Police closed off Derbyhaven Road up to Turbot's Farm the public, along with the footpath from Turkeylands quarry to the flying club after it was found.

It's not yet certain when a bomb disposal team will get here from the United Kingdom to deal with the device.
