Device now not thought to be not a bomb say Police

by isleofman.com 26th April 2008
It's now believed the device found at Derbyhaven this morning wasn't an unexploded bomb.

Photographs of it have been sent to the Explosives Ordenance Department of the Royal Engineers.

The latest from officers is that the area cordoned off after its discovery will be reopened within the next hour.

Inspector Helen Mason has thanked everyone who assisted with the incident and particularly thanks the public for their patience.
