The Chief Constable says partnerships between the police and other sectors of the local community will play a key role in maintaining the Island’s positive crime trends.
Mike Langdon was speaking after the Isle of Man Constabulary announced a significant reduction in the levels of recorded crime over the past 12 months.

Headline figures in the end of year crime performance report include an overall detection rate of 56 per cent - almost double the rate for England and Wales - and a 25 per cent increase in the number of arrests, compared with the average for the past three years.
