Man due in court on heroin charges

A Liverpool man charged in connection with the alleged importation of ?22,000 worth of heroin into the Isle of Man will appear before the High Bailiff today (Tuesday).

Thirty-two year-old Thomas McKendrick of Oakfield Road in Walton was arrested on Thursday and appeared in court on Saturday when he was remanded in custody.

He is also accused of possessing a quantity of the drug.
