Breakthrough Breast Cancer is clarifying the source of a substantial donation to its funds.
A sum of half a million pounds was a private donation from multi-millionaire businessman Albert Gubay, and didn't come from the Isle of Woman fundraising group.
On Friday's Mandate a spokeswoman suggested the ?500,000 had come through the group, which 'Breakthrough' says was incorrect.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is stressing it is extremely grateful for what it calls 'the amazing support' it receives from Isle of Man residents.
And it's paying tribute to the 'fantastic' ?100,000 raised by the Isle of Woman fundraisers between 2006 and 2007 which, it says, is vital for continuing scientific research.
The money from Mr Gubay will help fund a new research unit opening in Manchester shortly.
