Briefing for college staff

Staff at King William's College have been updated on what parents are looking for when they choose an independent school.

The Independent Schools Council represents almost 1,300 schools and 500,000 pupils and their regional advisor has been on the Island.

Rachel Hicks says many parents want a school with modern teaching methods and facilities, which still retains tradition.

She says the International Baccalaureate, which has replaced A-Levels at the college, is proving popular (audio file attached):
