by isleofman.com 30th April 2008
Two women from the Isle of Man are nearly two weeks into a 500 mile walk.

Kate Kirk and Sue Moore are hoping to raise more than ?7,000 for the Island's Children's Hospice, Rebecca House by following an ancient pilgrimage trail called the Camino de Frances.

Writing on their on-line journal, the pair say they are managing an averga of 12 to 15 miles a day, although sunburn and blisters have been hampering their progress.

It's expected the trip will take around six weeks to complete.
