Alleged drug supplier in court again

A Liverpool man charged with importing the second largest amount of heroin ever to be seized in the Isle of Man has been remanded in custody until next month.

Thirty-five year-old Thomas McKendrick, of Anfield is accused of producing heroin, and possession of the drug with intent to supply.

Rosemary Burnett, prosecuting, alleged the defendant had over ?27,000 worth of the drug.

He was been remanded in custody until May 27.
