by isleofman.com 2nd May 2008
Representatives from the Isle of Man's ship registry will visit the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers' Association Charter Show in Genoa next week.

The event, from Monday to Wednesday, is celebrating its 20th anniversary and will showcase superyachts.

Taking part are six Manx-registered yachts, 'Bojangles', 'CD Two', 'Kaleido Beau', 'Mirabella V', 'Ocean Seven' and 'Talon', together with the 'Latinou', which is due to come onto the register at the end of May.

The vessels are between 26 and 66 metres in length.

DTI Minister David Cretney, says the event, which is closed to the public, is aimed at people like yacht brokers, charterers and builders and is an an ideal networking opportunity

As well as Government delegates, representatives from the private sector will also be exhibiting to raise the Island’s profile.
