Concern over TT accommodation

Onchan MHK Peter Karran says he’s worried the government isn’t doing enough to ensure there’s sufficient hotel accommodation for TT visitors.

In the House of Keys next week, he’ll quiz Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw about two of the Island’s best-known hotels which look likely to remain closed for this year’s festival.

Mr Karran says he wants to know whether the department has held talks with the owners of the Castle Mona and Castletown Golf Links hotels.

And he says bed spaces for TT visitors is already at a premium (audio file attached):
