Fatal accident at Hillberry

by isleofman.com 4th May 2008
Police confirmed this evening that an 18 year-old man died in a road accident at Hillberry, at about 10.40 last night.

He was a passenger in a blue coloured Vauxhall Zafira car, which went out of control as the driver was negotiating the sharp right hand bend, while travelling in the direction of the TT course.

Police say the vehicle collided with a roadside wall and overturned.

The road between the Little Mill Road and Cronk-ny-Mona was closed for about seven hours while investigations were carried out.

There is an appeal for witness, and anybody with information is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212.
