Bishop hopes to attract more clergy

The Island’s new bishop, the Right Reverend Robert Paterson, hopes its tax advantages will attract more clergy.

He says one of the problems with the Isle of Man’s image in the Church is a perception it’s a very expensive place to live.

That, he says, may put off younger vicars.

However, he is hopeful he will be able to let them know about some of the advantages of living in the Island (audio file attached):
