No motor home law change

by isleofman.com 6th May 2008
Transport Minister David Anderson says there are currently no plans to change the law regarding the parking of motor-homes on the road.

The issue was raised in the Keys this morning by Onchan MHK Peter Karran.

However, Mr Anderson (pictured) says law already exist to restrict the parking of large vehicles within the road traffic overnight and weekend waiting regulations 1993 which came into effect the following year.

This prevents large motor caravans parking on highways or private roads with public access and which have a permanent speed limit in place on Saturdays and Sundays or between 6pm and 7am.
