The Union Mills Methodist Church has been given a 21st Century facelift.
The front, open porch has been demolished and replaced with a much larger, glazed porch accessed by new steps and a ramp.
There is also a new toilet which has disabled access and baby changing facilities, and the rest of the building interior has been given a lick of paint.
The project has taken two years and cost in the region of ?50,000.
Church Minister the Reverend David Shirtliff says the alterations have made a huge difference:
There will be an open day this Saturday between 10.30 a.m. and 12 noon for anyone to go along and see the work that's been done.
