VOICE makes Education submissions

A teachers organisation is making its views known about proposed education laws.

New guidelines on how teachers restrain unruly pupils, deal with detentions and the issue of employment of children, all feature in The Education Miscellaneous Provisions Bill, currently out for consultation.

Secretary of the Isle of Man branch of VOICE, formerly the Professional Association of Teachers, Peter Murcott, says its studied the proposals carefully (audio file attached):
