Police defend value of CCTV cameras

The Isle of Man Constabulary has spoken out against claims from a senior officer in the United Kingdom that CCTV systems no longer served a purpose.

The comments were made following reports that images from CCTV cameras were too distorted to stand up in court.

However, the Island's crime prevention officer Mike Radcliffe says it all dependents how much money is invested in the security systems:
