Cash needed for asbestos removal

A year-long programme to rip out asbestos from schools in the Isle of Man will go ahead if Tynwald hands over the cash required.

The work would include the pool at Ballakermeen.

The department of education is looking for around ?750,000 and, years after the hazard was first identified, Minister Anne Craine (pictured) says it's still a very current problem:
