A leading backbench MHK claims the Manx government should have considered taking a greater involvement in EuroManx, perhaps even a take-over.
North Douglas member Bill Henderson has tabled an emergency question on the collapse of the airline for Tuesday's sitting of the House of Keys.
He says the government, which had been involved in discussions prior to the company ceasing trading, should have had a more 'pro-active role in these issues' and become more involved 'in a direct way'.
He was asked if he thought rival airline Flybe, which was involved in take-over talks, would have been a more appropriate option:
