Ramsey board against taxi deregulation

Ramsey Commissioners have voiced their concerns over plans to introduce an all-Island 'delimited' taxi service.

The issue is due to be debated in Tynwald next week and the commissioners hope their views, which will be forwarded to all members, will have an impact.

Commissioner Leonard Singer believes the change would have a harmful effect on the provision of taxi services for the people of Ramsey and the north:
